Military
You showed up for others. Now it’s time to show up for yourself — with a provider who actually understands military culture.
What It Is
Understanding the
military experience
The military shapes how people think, communicate, process emotions, and ask for help — and most civilian therapists are not trained to recognize or work within that framework. Cultural mismatches in therapy waste time and erode trust.
The challenges that follow service — reintegration, hypervigilance, moral injury, identity shifts, relationship strain, and combat-related PTSD — require a provider who understands the context, not just the symptoms.
June’s Approach
Military Cultural
Competence Tier 1
June holds Military Cultural Competence Tier 1 Certification (2024), meaning she has completed specialized training in the values, structure, stressors, and norms of military service. She understands the language, the hierarchy, the stigma around seeking help, and the unique pressures on service members and their families.
June is also CPT-trained — the gold-standard treatment for combat and service-related PTSD. You will not have to explain your world before the real work begins.
