How insurance
works here

Out-of-network & superbills

Positive FX is currently a private-pay practice. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, June can provide a monthly superbill (an itemized receipt with the codes your insurance needs) so you can submit for reimbursement.

Reimbursement rates vary by plan. Many PPO plans cover 50-80% of out-of-network mental health visits after a deductible.

Questions to ask your insurer

  • "Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?"
  • "What is my deductible, and how much have I met?"
  • "What percentage do you reimburse for CPT codes 90834 (50-min) and 90837 (60+ min)?"
  • "How do I submit a superbill?"

Sliding scale

Reduced-fee
spots

A small number of sliding scale slots are available based on financial need. If full-fee sessions are out of reach, please mention this when you book your consultation. June will share the current availability and how the conversation typically goes.

Payment & policies

How payment
works

Accepted payment methods

  • Major credit and debit cards
  • HSA / FSA cards
  • ACH transfer (for ongoing clients)

Life happens. Sessions cancelled with 24+ hours notice are not charged. Late cancellations or no-shows are billed at the full session rate, unless the circumstance was clearly outside your control.

Required notice

Estimate

Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for therapy services. June provides this in writing on request and as part of the intake paperwork.
