Out-of-network & superbills
Positive FX is currently a private-pay practice. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, June can provide a monthly superbill (an itemized receipt with the codes your insurance needs) so you can submit for reimbursement.
Reimbursement rates vary by plan. Many PPO plans cover 50-80% of out-of-network mental health visits after a deductible.
Questions to ask your insurer
- "Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?"
- "What is my deductible, and how much have I met?"
- "What percentage do you reimburse for CPT codes 90834 (50-min) and 90837 (60+ min)?"
- "How do I submit a superbill?"
Sliding scale
Reduced-fee
spots
A small number of sliding scale slots are available based on financial need. If full-fee sessions are out of reach, please mention this when you book your consultation. June will share the current availability and how the conversation typically goes.
